In February 2024, Marshall Security’s Armed Response Officers apprehended Sandile Langeni for his involvement in a house robbery in the Avoca area.
Following a thorough investigation by Greenwood Park SAPS Detectives and countless court dates over the course of 7 months Sandile Langeni was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment and found unfit to possess a firearm after pleading guilty in Durban Magistrates Court on the 27th of September 2024.
This successful conviction highlights the collaboration between Marshall Security and the Greenwood Park SAPS working endlessly together to make communities safe. We commend Detective Sergeant JN Mhlongo for her dedication and effort in ensuring justice for the victims involved.
The victim of this horrendous crime must also be commended for their involvement and attending the court cases to ensure justice is served.
