UMHLANGA ROCKS DRIVE

Two people have lost their lives in a horrific motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive earlier.
Reports from the scene indicate that a Mazda hatchback vehicle was travelling in a northerly direction when it overturned at the Armstrong Avenue traffic circle, before bursting into flames.
Two adult occupants of the vehicle sustained fatal burn wounds and were declared deceased on arrival by paramedics.
At this stage, the cause of the incident is unknown and will form the subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
