Just after 08h00 this morning the Marshall Emergency Dispatch Centre received multiple reports of a shooting incident that had taken place on Armstrong Avenue in the La Lucia area.
Multiple Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team were dispatched and arrived on scene a short while later.
It was later established that an unknown male was shot and found deceased in his vehicle after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. The scene was secured by our team and handed over to the SAPS who arrived on scene swiftly.
The motive of the shooting is currently unknown however the SAPS will be investigating further.
