At approximately 20h00 last night, while on patrol on Church Road, Parkhill our Armed Reaction Officer noticed a male carrying two plastic chairs.
When questioned the suspect could not advise where he got the chairs from. Upon further questioning, the suspect admitted that he had jumped over a fence in Highlands Road and took the chairs from their patio.
The homeowner was contacted and identified the chairs as theirs, SAPS were called to the scene. The suspect was handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.
