At approximately 17h43, our GWA Armed Response Officers responded to an alert received via a crime alert group regarding a bushfire at the junction of Hillclimb Road and Motala Road.
The team promptly arrived on the scene and, with the assistance of the homeowner, successfully contained the fire using vehicle fire extinguishers. The fire department was notified but was stood down after the fire was extinguished by our team. Our members remained on standby until the area was fully secured.
Well done to our team on yet another successful operation. The collaboration between the Greater Westmead Association and Marshall Security played a key role in ensuring a safer environment for everyone involved.
