Last night in a swift operation, our Special Operations Team, in collaboration with Cartrack and SAPS, successfully recovered a hijacked vehicle.
At approximately 19h50 members of our Special Operations Team were activated to assist Cartrack with locating a Toyota Hilux which had been hijacked in the Kwamashu area.
Our team members immediately responded to the last known location of the hijacked vehicle and within minutes, the vehicle was found abandoned in the Ntuzuma area and recovered by members of our Special Ops Team, Cartrack ground team and the Kwamashu SAPS Trio Crimes Unit.
Vehicle was transported to Ntuzuma SAPS for further investigation.
