Last night, at approximately 19h16, Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team noticed Pinetown SAPS vehicles in pursuit of a silver Datsun Go through the Pinetown CBD. Without hesitation, our Special Operations Team joined the pursuit to provide additional support.
The high-speed chase proceeded along Winston Churchill Drive toward the M7, where Datsun Go veered out of control and crashed where three suspects were apprehended.
A search was conducted, and two firearms were recovered. Further investigations revealed the robbery suspects are linked to multiple robbery-from-person incidents in the Pinetown area.
The cooperation between Marshall Security and SAPS ensured a precise, controlled pursuit and a swift arrest. Their combined effort removed armed robbery suspects from the streets and reinforced ongoing crime-prevention partnerships that keep the community safer.
