Joint Efforts Lead to Multiple Suspects Arrested and Vehicle Recoveries

On two separate occasions yesterday, Marshall Security Special Operations Team together with the SAPS successfully apprehended suspects involved in criminal activities, showcasing rapid response and effective teamwork.

At approximately 13h00 yesterday, members of our Special Operations Team working together with SAPS EIN Crime Intelligence and Greenwood Park SAPS Trio Crimes unit received information about a white VW Golf GTI 6, traveling on Nandi Drive towards KwaMashu suspected to be stolen.

Responding immediately, teams moved in swiftly and the vehicle was stopped where three suspects were immediately apprehended. Upon further investigation, it was established that the vehicle was fitted with false number plates and that the vehicle had indeed been stolen earlier this month outside a well-known hotel on the Durban Beach Front.

All three suspects and the stolen vehicle were transported to Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigations and questioning.

During questioning, the suspects led the team to the Newlands area where one suspect was apprehended together with the assistance of Newlands East SAPS after being found in possession of a grey Toyota Hilux which had been stolen in February this year in the Pietermaritzburg area.

The vehicle was fitted with false plates.

Both the suspect and the vehicle were taken to Newlands East SAPS for further processing and investigations.

These two successful operations underscore Marshall Security’s commitment to community safety and its ongoing efforts to work closely with SAPS and to bring criminals to justice.
