Three suspects were arrested on Wednesday afternoon for a business robbery in September where they had held up the security guard at knifepoint and stole an undisclosed amount of items.
On 28 September 2022 at approximately 06h30, Marshall Security attended a business robbery which had occurred on Richfond Circle in the Umhlanga area where an unknown amount of suspects driving a white Toyota Etios held up a security guard at knifepoint.
The suspects then entered the business premises by forcing open the door and took an undisclosed amount of items, including alcohol to the value of R42,000 and then fled the scene.
On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 13h45 our Special Operations Team following up on information together with the SAPS Durban North Rapid Response Team proceeded to the Kwamashu area, where three suspects who were involved in the business robbery were arrested and the vehicle used in the commission was also recovered.
All three suspects together with the vehicle used in the commission of the crime were taken to the Durban North SAPS for further investigation and processing.
