Whether You’re Home Alone…
or Leaving Your Home Alone

Make No Mistake, an Alarm System Has Become a Necessity These Days

That’s not fear mongering either… it’s just a fact, as we see it. The good news though, is that we have a comprehensive array of systems and options available to you, so that together we can tailor-make the best solution for you and your premises.

WaaaaWaaaaaWaaaaa. Yes, We’re Trying to Get Your Attention. See How Well Siren Sounds Work?

Home alarm systems are an excellent deterrent for criminals. As a warning device, (which can be set to activate a siren, or send a silent alarm to our control centre) they can sometimes get criminals to completely back down, or at the very least severely limit their time on your premises because they know we’re on our way. This means they don’t do nearly as good a job as they would like, of stealing all your stuff… or breaking it, before making their great escape.

Our control centre dispatches a vehicle to your premises immediately upon receiving your alarm activation; this means we are en route before we call you to check if you are in distress or if you accidentally set it off. FYI. That’s why our reaction times are so good.

Your Home Alarm Systems and Their Additions

Some of the additions to a good home alarm system include, but are not limited to:

  • Panic buttons, which are affixed to walls in fairly accessible locations. These are used to manually activate the alarm in the case of an emergency.
  • Passive infrared detectors (PIR’s), which monitor movement.
  • Glass break detectors, which activate the alarm when the sound frequency of breaking glass is picked up.
  • Magnetic contacts, which are mounted onto doors and windows.
  • Also important are outdoor detectors, which are similar to PIR’s, but are designed to work in outdoor conditions.
  • Strip beams are also for outdoor detection, and are generally applied to windows and doors.
  • Smoke detectors, which are inexpensive devices that connect to your alarm panels and trigger in the event of a fire.
  • Last but not least, that siren, which your neighbours hate. Let them hate it, it’s keeping you and your family safe. But maybe send them a gift basket… or information about switching to us? Sharing is caring and all that.
