One Arrested, Two Vehicles Successfully Recovered in Separate Incidents

In two separate incidents, Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team (SOT) and Armed Response Officers successfully recovered two stolen vehicles in Durban, demonstrating their relentless commitment to combating vehicle-related crime.

Just after 05h35 yesterday morning, Marshall Security’s SOT were activated by Netstar Tracking to assist with a Volkswagen Polo that had been stolen in the Bellair area. Within minutes of conducting a thorough search, the team — together with Netstar ground crew and SAPS — successfully recovered the stolen VW Polo, which had been found abandoned. The vehicle was secured and transported to Inanda SAPS for further investigation.

Later today at approximately 08h20, Marshall Security acted on information received and acted out on it.An Audi that had been flagged as stolen in Johannesburg earlier this year was spotted by our vigilant armed Response Officer who quickly identified the vehicle at a fuel station near Blue Lagoon.

Marshall’s SOT provided backup as Metro Police attended the scene, and the Audi was safely escorted to Durban Central SAPS. Following further investigations, the driver failed to provide a valid explanation for being in possession of the stolen vehicle and was formally charged.

These successful stolen vehicle recoveries and arrests in Durban highlight Marshall Security’s dedication, technology-driven vigilance, and swift teamwork with partners in fighting crime across the region.
