INCIDENT: HOUSE ROBBERY

At approximately 19:15 on Thursday night, Marshall Security responded to a house robbery which had occurred at premises in Lancaster Grove in Parkhill.
Reports from the scene indicate that five armed suspects jumped the boundary wall before entering the home via the back door and confronting the homeowner.
The men who were armed with firearms and knives robbed the homeowner of jewellery, cellphones, and electronic equipment before fleeing in an awaiting getaway vehicle.
The homeowner did not sustain any injury in the ordeal.
The scene was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
