INCIDENT: HOUSEBREAKING / SUSPECT ARRESTED

At approximately 03:30 on Thursday morning, Marshall Security were alerted via a Videofied, video verified alarm system, to an intruder on-site at a business premises in Rustic close in Briardene.
Armed reaction officers descended on the area and a male suspect was spotted fleeing the property. A foot chase ensued, resulting in his arrest.
The suspect was apprehended and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
