INCIDENT: ARMED ROBBERY

At approximately 14h15 on Saturday Marshall Security recieved a panic alert from a residence in Pembroke Road, Durban North.
Armed Reaction officers responded to the scene and further information revealed that as the homeowners where arriving at their residential complex, they were followed in by armed suspects. Three men armed with hand guns confronted them whilst a fourth, armed with an AK47 assault rifle, stood guard at the gate.
The men demanded cellphones, jewellery and money, assaulting an elderly male, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The victims were attended to by Crisis Medical Paramedics.
The scene was secured and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
