Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 14h00, Marshall Security’s Emergency Dispatch Centre received an alarm activation from a client’s business premises on Adrian Road in the Morningside area.
Marshall Security Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on the scene within minutes.
Upon arrival, officers spotted a suspect on the property inside one of the client’s vehicles, attempting to steal items after smashing the vehicle windows with a brick. The suspect was immediately apprehended on the scene.
Durban Central SAPS was contacted and arrived shortly thereafter to transport the suspect to the police station for processing.
