INCIDENT: THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE/ SUSPECTS ARRESTED

Two suspects have been arrested thanks to joint effort between law enforcement agencies in the north coast this morning.
Earlier an alert was received for a positive Volkswagen Citi Golf, reported stolen in Piet Retief in April this year, was detected by the CPF SNIPR Automatic Number Plate Recognition Camera Systems in the Ballito area and an alert was sent out to all role players in the area.
The vehicle in question a black VW Citi Golf was seen travelling on the N2 south where it was followed and brought to a stop by members of Marshall Security, Z2 security, Ballito / Salt Rock CPF / NHW, Big Show towing, RUSA and Tongaat SAPS.
Two male suspects were remanded into the custody of the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
