This morning Marshall Security received a phone call from a client stating that they can see what looks like a dead body lying on the beach.
Marshall Security Armed Reaction Officers, Crisis Medical Paramedics and Metro Search and Rescue were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, paramedics declared the African male of approximately 35 years deceased. The scene was secured and handed over to Durban North SAPS.
The ID of the deceased and cause of death is currently unknown, and SAPS will be conducting an inquest.
