Four Suspects Arrested In Successful Weekend for Marshall Security.
This weekend saw the successful arrest of four suspects by Marshall Security.
In the first incident, a hijacked Kia Rio was recovered following a shootout between responding officers from Marshall Security, Matrix vehicle tracking and Metro Police in the Gingindlovu area. The vehicle in question was taken in a hijacking in the Inanda area. One suspect was killed and another was wounded in the shootout.
Later just after midnight on Sunday morning, a stolen motor vehicle was picked up on our SNIPR Automatic Numberplate Recognition Camera systems in the Umhlanga Rocks area.
The vehicle in question, a Volkswagen Polo was brought to a stop with the assistance of the South African Police Services on Lagoon Drive. Two suspects were apprehended and remanded into custody for further investigation and processing.
In a separate incident, a man wanted in connection with a theft case was arrested in the Somerset park area. The male suspect was wanted for the theft of numerous passports from a church in the area of late. He was spotted in the area on Sunday afternoon, by a local pastor who called Marshall Security for assistance. The man was apprehended and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
