Yesterday evening, at approximately 20h37, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received information that a white Chevrolet Spark, which had been reported stolen earlier this month in the Howick area, was travelling along Swapo Road in the Broadway area of Durban North.
The vehicle’s details were immediately circulated to all Marshall Security Armed Response Officers, who began searching the area.
A short while later, officers successfully located and intercepted the stolen vehicle on Swapo Road. Two suspects were promptly apprehended.
Durban North SAPS attended the scene shortly thereafter, and both suspects were escorted to the Durban North SAPS station for further investigation and processing.
Once again, the quick sharing of information and coordinated response between Marshall Security and SAPS resulted in the successful recovery of a stolen vehicle and the apprehension of two suspects.
