Yesterday afternoon at approximately 13h40, while conducting routine patrols on Chris Hani Road, Marshall Security’s Special Operations Team (SOT) identified a Nissan NP300 matching the description of a vehicle linked to a gate theft on Delville Road, Parkhill, on March 13, 2025. The connection was confirmed through CCTV footage obtained from the crime scene.
Acting immediately, our SOT members intercepted the vehicle and questioned the three male occupants. Upon further investigations, the suspects confessed to stealing the gate and admitted to selling it to a metal scrap dealer in Isipingo.
Greenwood Park Trio Crimes members arrived to assist, and the suspects, along with the vehicle, were transported to the station for further investigation and processing. All three suspects have been detained, and detectives are actively following up to locate and recover the stolen gate.
