INCIDENT: HOUSEBREAKING / SUSPECTED ARRESTED

Just after 12h15 Marshall Security were alerted to a housebreaking which had occurred in Allamanda Road, Glenhills. Armed Reaction officers responded to the scene and on further investigation, it was ascertained that an unknown number of suspects had forced entry into a garage, before making off with various items of gardening equipment and tools.
A patrol of the area was done by all available vehicles and a suspicious male was spotted not far from the premises. A search of the man found him to be in possession of property later confirmed to have been stolen from the home in Allamanda Road.
The man was arrested and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
