At approximately 19:30 our emergency dispatch centre received messages on a crime WhatsApp group of a robbery where gun shots had been fired in Begonia Road, Glen Hills.
Our Reaction Officers and Special Operations Team were immediately dispatched to the scene, upon arrival it was ascertained that four armed suspects had entered the property by climbing over the side wall and proceeded to a cottage on the premises.
The suspects entered the cottage and held up the female occupant, the suspects took electronic items and jewelry before taking the female victim to the main house.
The suspects did not get into the main house as the gate was locked, they then fled and fired shots whilst fleeing.
No one was injured in the robbery.
