This afternoon at approximately 12h26, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a call for assistance from an alert client on Leven Place in the Greenwood Park area.
It was reported that a female suspect had broken into a neighbouring property and fled the scene with an unknown quantity of stolen items.
A clear description of the suspect was immediately circulated to all Armed Response Officers in the area. While responding, officers spotted the suspect near the corners of Mimosa Road and Chris Hani Road and quickly apprehended her.
Upon searching the suspect, various kitchen and household items were found in her possession.

The homeowner—who is not a Marshall Security client—was located and confirmed that the items were stolen from their property. The victim opted to press charges against the suspect.
Greenwood Park SAPS was informed and arrived on scene shortly after. The suspect was then transported, along with the recovered stolen items, to Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.
This arrest highlights the value of real-time community alerts, rapid response, and coordinated teamwork between security services and SAPS. Marshall Security remains committed to protecting every street, one case at a time.
