Yesterday, during the early hours of the morning, an intelligence driven operation was conducted by the SAPS from various policing areas which included SAPS members from Kwamashu, Tongaat, Ndwedwe, Nsuze and Umhlali together with security role players such as Marshall Security, Hawks Protection, Fidelity SIU and McCarthy Risk on information of wanted suspects in several serious cases which included murder, attempted murder, house robbery and hijacking. These heinous occurred in several policing areas.
During the operation five suspects were arrested in three different locations within the Tongaat area where a shotgun, handgun, ammunition, suspected stolen property and house breaking implements were recovered.
Further investigations led the team to the Besters Kwamashu area where two suspects were apprehended and Toyota Hilux which was hijacked in September this year in the Nsuze area was recovered.
Well done to all team members working together, making a difference. Investigations are still continuing.
