Marshall Security Responds to Non-fatal Drowning in Glen Hills

At approximately 14h20 this afternoon, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received a distress call from a non-client requesting urgent assistance after reporting a drowning incident in progress in the Glen Hills area.

Multiple Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team (SOT) immediately responded, along with the eThekwini Fire Department and Netcare 911 paramedics.

Upon arrival, CPR was already being administered to the patient by the homeowner. Our Armed Response Officers and SOT members assisted on scene until advanced life support paramedics from Netcare 911 took over.

Greenwood Park SAPS also attended the incident and provided assistance.

Thanks to the combined efforts of all responders, the patient was stabilized on scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further care.

This incident once again highlights the importance of community readiness, quick action, and coordinated emergency response during life-threatening situations. At Marshall Security, we utilise our resources and advanced technology to fight crime and save lives, because we believe that well done is better than well said!
