INCIDENT: THEFT / SUSPECT ARRESTED

Teamwork between a Marshall Security armed reaction officer and a member of the Community Policing Forum, saw the successful arrest of a male suspect at approximately 13:00 on Friday after he had stolen property from a home in the area.
Information was circulated to our armed reaction officers, that a theft had occurred in the Burn Grove area of Morningside and with the assistance of the CPF member, the team were able to successfully apprehend a man attempting to flee the scene.
The suspect was found in possession of various items of clothing stolen from a washing line in the area.
The man was handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
Thank you to the local CPF for their assistance. This teamwork reiterates the commitment between Marshall Security and the Community Policing Forum to a zero tolerance on crime in the area.
