Armed Reaction Officer
Marshall Security is seeking dedicated, physically fit, and experienced Armed Reaction Officers. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring swift response to alarms and emergencies, maintaining the safety of our clients, and upholding our high standards of service and professionalism.
What you’ll do:
In this crucial frontline role, you’ll respond quickly to alarm activations, perform thorough investigations, conduct regular security patrols, and maintain vigilant oversight to prevent incidents. Your professional approach and prompt actions will directly impact our community’s safety and trust.
Alarm Response & Investigation:
Respond swiftly to alarm activations, performing thorough investigations to determine the cause.
Ensure rapid response to client emergencies and alarm activations.
Patrol & Security:
Conduct regular security patrols to proactively secure client premises.
Maintain vigilance and promptly report suspicious activities or threats.
Compliance & Standards:
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Maintain professional standards, consistently providing exceptional service.
Communication & Reporting:
Clearly document incidents, patrols, and security checks.
Maintain accurate records and detailed reporting of all activities and incidents.
Customer Interaction:
Provide high-quality escorts and professional interactions with clients.
Offer reliable support for client concerns and safety.
What you need to know:
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Fluent in English.
Minimum of 3 years’ armed reaction experience with a good performance record.
Physical fitness and mental toughness to handle challenging scenarios.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and high situational awareness.
Comprehensive knowledge and proficient handling of firearms.
Certifications & Requirements:
Valid PSIRA Registration
Minimum Grade C and Armed Reaction grading
Valid driver’s licence.
Valid Firearm Competency Certificate.
Clean criminal record, with mandatory Criminal Record Vetting and Pre-employment Polygraph.
