Just before 14h00 today, Marshall Security were alerted to a house robbery that had occurred in Newsell Road, Umdloti. Three armed suspects jumped over the front wall of the property and held up the residents at gunpoint.
The suspects had demanded to know if anyone else was on the property. The resident informed them that there was a family member in the granny flat, at which point they proceeded to hold up the individual as well. The suspects stole various electronic goods and fled in an unknown vehicle.
Our Special Operations Team members arrived on-site and contacted the North Durban Victim Support Team for assistance and the South African Police Services for the case to be opened.
