On Monday 22 June at approximately 13h46 our control room received cell and remote panic signals from a Durban North liquor store. The manager of the store advised that they had apprehended two shoplifting suspects but required urgent assistance from Marshall Security as the suspects were attempting to overpower them.
Our Reaction Officers and Supervisor were immediately dispatched to the scene. On arrival, our team secured the suspects, who were then handed over to South African Police Services for processing and further investigation.
