At approximately 02H00 on Tuesday 30 June, Marshall Security was alerted via a WhatsApp message on one of our community groups that a bicycle and TV had just been stolen from a resident’s home in St Andrews Drive, Durban North.
A Reaction Officer and Supervisor responded to the alert and arrested a suspect, with the TV in his possession, on the corner of Harcourt and Chiswick Place.
A subsequent search of the area, conducted by our team, for a second suspect and the bicycle was unfortunately not successful.
The suspect was remanded into the custody of the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
