Last night at approximately 19h30, members of our Special Operations Team were activated to assist Netstar tracking with a Silver VW T-Cross which had been hijacked in the Montclair area earlier on in the evening.
Responding immediately to the last known location of the hijacked vehicle, our team, in coordination with the Durban North Crime Prevention Unit and Netstar tracking, swiftly located the vehicle. Within minutes, the abandoned VW T-Cross was found on Twilight Drive in the Gateway Umhlanga area.
The hijacked vehicle was then transported to Durban North SAPS for further investigation and processing. This swift recovery underscores the effectiveness of rapid response and collaboration between security teams.
