Yesterday, at approximately 08h40, a panic activation was received from the service station after two suspects entered the store and stole several cosmetic items before fleeing the scene.
Marshall Security Greater Westmead Association (GWA) Armed Response and Tactical Officers, together with Pinetown SAPS, attended the scene. A formal case was registered, and CCTV footage of the incident was obtained.
Descriptions of the suspects were immediately circulated to all Marshall Security GWA Officers to be on the lookout for the pair.
Approximately 24 hours later, the same two suspects returned to the service station and were spotted by Marshall Security GWA Armed Response Officers entering the premises.

Upon noticing the approaching officers, the suspects immediately fled on foot. A foot pursuit ensued, resulting in both suspects being successfully apprehended a short distance away.
Pinetown SAPS arrived on scene shortly thereafter and transported the suspects to a nearby police station for further investigation and processing.
