Marshall Security received several calls for assistance for another hijacking that took place in the Morningside area at approximately 11h00.
Details of the hijacked vehicle were immediately circulated to all our Armed Reaction Officers in the area. Our team spotted the vehicle on Queen Nandi Drive and proceeded to give chase.
The suspects lost control of the vehicle just before the Quarry Heights intersection and crashed on the centre median.
Suspects then exited the vehicle and fled into nearby bush with our team in pursuit buy unfortunately the suspects managed to evade arrest.
The scene was secured and handed over to the SAPS for further investigation and processing.
