Briardene Copper Pipe Theft: Marshall Security’s Quick Response Leads to Arrests

Briardene Copper Pipe Theft

This afternoon at approximately 16h30, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received multiple panic activations from a private Security Officer at a well-known business complex on Travertine Crescent in the Briardene area. The Security Officer on scene spotted two suspects stealing copper pipes from one of the business premises within the business complex.

An accurate description of the suspects was then circulated to our responding Armed Response Officers and members of our Special Operations Team who were en route to assist.

Whilst responding, the two suspects were then spotted on Kew Road in the Kenville area. As soon as the suspects noticed our team members, they dropped their stolen items and attempted to flee on foot. One suspect was then promptly apprehended by our armed response officer, while the second suspect was then apprehended in a well known business complex on Brickworks Way in the Briardene area after jumping into a business complex in attempt to evade arrest.
