Yesterday afternoon, two suspicious individuals were spotted on the security cameras of a popular estate in the Herrwood Park area. Moments later, the feed went offline, raising immediate concerns of possible theft. An initial search produced no direct leads and it was established that a camera had been forcefully removed and stolen.
Marshall Tactical Teams immediately when in search of the two suspects with a clear description of the suspects on hand.
After an extensive search our Officers spotted the two suspects on the M4 by the Umhlanga River heading towards Sibaya and were promptly apprehended. One individual was found armed with a cane knife and the stolen camera was recovered in their possession.
Both suspects were handed over to the South African Police Service who will be investigating a case if theft.
