Siyabonga Brian Makhaza was found guilty and imprisoned after our Special Operations Team members arrested him for theft after he was caught and identified via CCTV footage for stealing copper pipes from a property in the Glen Hills area earlier this year.
Makhaza was found guilty for theft in Durban Magistrates Court on the 13 of March 2023 and sentenced to one-month imprisonment or a three thousand Rand fine which is wholly suspended for 5 years.
Well done to Detective Sergeant SMH Chiya from Greenwood Park SAPS on yet another successful conviction.
Last week our teams were yet again able to arrest a thief that has been active in the Glen Hills area with the help of footage from CCTV cameras.
