Commercial Security Advisor
Marshall Security is looking for a driven and trustworthy Security Advisor to join our team. This role requires honesty, reliability, and excellent communication skills, along with a proven track record in sales and the ability to manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Candidates must reside within the business’s operational footprint.
What you’ll do:
We’re looking for a professional, client-focused Security Advisor to represent Marshall Security in the field. This role is centred around building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored electronic security and safety solutions while upholding the company’s image, values, and service standards.
Sales & Client Engagement
- Represent the company’s image, ethos, and vision at all times.
- Promote and sell Marshall Security’s products and services to new and existing clients.
- Listen to client requirements and present suitable security solutions to secure sales.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and future business.
- Cold call, follow up on leads, and collect referrals to source new opportunities.
Client Communication & Service
- Respond to calls, emails, and enquiries professionally and within the same business day.
- Attend scheduled appointments and proactively reschedule when necessary.
- Handle client complaints courteously and assist in directing issues to the correct department for resolution.
- Represent the company at events, exhibitions, community meetings, and functions when required.
Quoting, Contracts & Administration
- Present accurate quotations and solutions aligned with client needs and company pricing.
- Process new contracts and supporting documentation correctly and timeously.
- Ensure contracts are fully completed with no errors or omissions.
- Update CRM and BPO systems accurately and consistently.
- Record sales figures correctly on the sales target board software.
Operational Coordination
- Liaise with technical, control room, and accounts teams to ensure smooth handovers.
- Follow up on installation dates and be present on-site where required.
- Ensure technicians understand device placement and operation as agreed with the client.
- Maintain strong product and industry knowledge to meet sales targets.
Availability & Professional Conduct
- Be available telephonically during required hours due to the nature of the role.
- Working hours may vary, including occasional after-hours commitments for events or client needs.
- Always conduct business in a professional, ethical, and solutions-driven manner.
What you need to know:
Experience Required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within the security industry
Knowledge & Certifications Required
- Valid PSIRA Registration and Grading
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- SAIDSA Certification (Advantageous)
- High Level of Computer Literacy
- Own Reliable Motor Vehicle
- Criminal Record Vetting Procedure
- Pre-employment Polygraph

- Basic Salary: Level 6-7
