Copper Thief Arrested In Park Hill On A Non-Client Property

Yesterday morning our teams arrested a suspect that was attempting to steal copper pipes from a non-client’s property in the Park Hill area.

At approximately 11h10 the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre had been alerted, via a local WhatsApp Crime Alert group that a suspect was spotted trespassing at a business premises on North Coast Road.

Multiple Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes.  While were conducting a property check one suspect had been spotted attempting to strip the copper pipes from an aircon unit and was immediately apprehended by our team members.

The owner of the business premises was contacted and informed accordingly and wished to open a case with the South African Police Services.

The Greenwood Park SAPS were contacted and arrived on scene a short while later.  The suspect was transported to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.

Well done to our team on yet another arrest and to the alert neighbour who initially spotted the suspect and alerted our team.
