Our determined Armed Response Officers recovered various stolen items only an hour after they were stolen during a Glenhills housebreaking in the early hours of this morning.
The Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre was notified of a housebreaking that occurred at approximately 02h40 at a non-client’s property on Casaurina Circle in the Glenhills area. Multiple Armed Response Officers responded to the scene and it was established that numerous items had been stolen during the housebreaking.
Our Armed Response Officers immediately patrolled the known hotspots in search of the wanted suspects, and within just one hour the suspects were spotted walking on Moreland Drive in the Redhill area. After noticing our Armed Response Officers approaching, the suspects then abandoned some of the items taken during the housebreaking and started to flee. After a short foot chase the suspects unfortunately managed to evade arrest by running into an informal settlement on Old North Coast Road in the Avoca area.
The stolen items were returned to the homeowner.
