At approximately 15h40 on Friday 31 July, Marshall Security received a phone call from one of our clients in Umhlanga Rocks Drive informing us that three suspects in a red Hyundai had just robbed one of their clients of his cell phone.
Members of Marshall Security Special Operations Team were on Umhlanga Rocks Drive at the time and spotted a vehicle fitting the same description. A short chase ensued through Durban North and the vehicle was brought to a stop in Blackburn Road.
The suspects were found in possession of the stolen phone and the complainant positively identified the suspects.
The suspects were detained by Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.
