At approximately 01h05 this morning, a vigilant Marshall Security Armed Response Officer spotted a male walking along Margaret Maytom Avenue carrying an Acoustic Energy speaker.
When approached and questioned, the individual refused to disclose where he had obtained the item, raising further suspicion and was immediately apprehended.
Durban North SAPS was promptly contacted for assistance and arrived on scene a short while later and still, the now suspect, refused to disclose where he got the item from.
Durban North SAPS took the suspect into custody for further investigation and was charged for being in possession of a suspected stolen item.
