Over the past two days our Special Operations Team has assisted various tracking companies in recovering four hijacked and stolen vehicles.
Last night at approximately 19h50 members of our Special Ops Team were activated to assist Tracker SA with locating a Toyota Hilux that had been hijacked in the Cornubia area by two suspects, one armed with a firearm.

Our team members immediately responded to the last known location of the hijacked vehicle and within 10 minutes of being activated, the hijacked vehicle was recovered and found abandoned in Kwamashu A Section by members of our Special Operations Team and Tracker SA ground team assisted by the SAPS Kwamashu Trio Crimes Unit.
The vehicle was transported to Kwamashu SAPS for further investigation and processing.
Earlier in the afternoon at approximately 13h50 members of our Special Ops Team were activated by Netstar to assist with locating a white VW Polo that had been stolen from Willowfield Crescent in Umgeni Business Park area.

Our team members immediately responded to the last known locations of the vehicle and within 10 minutes of being activated, the stolen vehicle was found abandoned on Nsepe Road in the Ntuzuma area and was recovered by our Special Ops Team assisted by the Netstar ground team and the SAPS Kwamashu Trio Crimes Unit.
The vehicle was transported to the Kwamashu SAPS for further investigation and processing.
Shortly afterwards, members of our Special Ops Team we activated at approximately 16h40 to assist the Bidtrack ground team with locating yet another stolen VW Polo, which had been stolen in the Pinetown area.

Our members immediately responded and after a lengthy track the vehicle was found abandoned on a property in Kwamashu C – Section with false plates. It was recovered by members of our Special Ops Team, the Bidtrack ground team, Tracker SA and the SAPS Kwamashu Trio Crime Unit.
The vehicle was transported to the Kwamashu SAPS for further investigation and processing.
Then on Wednesday at approximately 18h00, members of our Special Operations Team were activated by Tracker SA to assist with locating an Isuzu bakkie that had been hijacked from Avocado Grove in the Avoca Hills area.

Our members immediately responded to the scene where the hijacking had occurred and it was established that three suspects, all armed with firearms, arrived on foot and hijacked the vehicle before fleeing in an unknown direction.
After a lengthy track, the vehicle was eventually found abandoned on a dirt road in the Ntuzuma area where it was recovered by members of our Special Ops Team and Tracker SA ground team, with the assistance of the Greenwood Park SAPS.
The vehicle was then transported to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing.
