This morning, at approximately 07h31, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received an urgent call from a client on Minerva Avenue in the Glen Ashley area. The client reported seeing an intruder on their property, providing a detailed description of the suspect, who was wearing blue pants and a long-sleeved shirt.
Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers quickly located and apprehended the suspect on the property.
At this stage, the suspect’s intentions remain unclear. The client expressed their desire to press charges, and Durban North SAPS was contacted. Police officers arrived on the scene shortly thereafter to take the suspect into custody for further legal proceedings.
