At approximately 12h03 this afternoon, Marshall Security’s Dispatch Centre received a call from a client located on Moreland Drive, Redhill. The client reported a theft that had taken place the previous week and expressed concern that the individual currently sleeping at the rear of their property might be the same suspect responsible for the crime.
Our Armed Response Team was immediately dispatched to investigate the situation. Upon arrival, our officers were directed to the suspect’s location, leading to a swift arrest. The individual was linked to a theft that occurred on 03/09/24, where an angle grinder was stolen from the client’s property. Camera footage confirmed the suspect’s involvement in the incident.
The suspect was promptly transported to Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation, where the case is ongoing.
