This afternoon at 12h27 members of our Special Operations Team were activated to assist Tracker SA with a hijacked Isuzu delivery bakkie which had been hijacked by an unknown amount of armed suspects in the Shakas Head area.
Our team members immediately responded to the last known location of the hijacked vehicle and within 10 mins of being activated the hijacked vehicle was recovered and found abandoned on an unnamed road in the Shakas Head area together with the assistance of Umhlali SAPS, Umhlali K9 Unit and Tracker SA ground team.
The stock in the delivery was recovered on scene however an undisclosed amount of cash was taken during the hijacking. The scene was secured and will be investigated further by the SAPS.
