This morning our team members apprehended a suspect in the Glen Hills area with stolen goods in his possession.
At approximately 06h20, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received reports from a client that a male was spotted walking down Ryde Place carrying 2 step ladders in Glen Hills area.
Multiple Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched and spotted the suspect on Malacca Road within minutes. The suspect was immediately apprehended by our team, he is known in the area and has been arrested by our team numerous times.
Our Reaction Officer recalled that another client in the area had previously reported that they had two step ladders stolen recently. The client was contacted and confirmed the ladders were theirs and decided to open a case.
The suspect was handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS for further investigation and processing and will be charged for theft..
