At approximately 15h45 Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Center received a call from a client in Margaret Maytom Avenue that two suspects had entered their property and stole their child’s bicycle. The suspects fled over the client’s boundary wall into Virginia Bush.
Marshall Security immediately dispatched multiple Armed Reaction Officers as well as our Special Operation Team members to the scene. Officers entered the bush to search for the suspect and after searching for approximately 30 minutes, the suspects were spotted towards the top part of Virginia bush.
The suspects dropped the stolen bicycle and fled into the dense bush.
The suspects unfortunately managed to evaded arrest.
The bicycle was handed over to the SAPS who were on scene. The bicycle was then handed back to the client by the SAPS.
