On the 15th of June, at roughly 7:00 pm, Marshall Security Special Operations Team members received information of a white Isuzu bakkie being stripped in the Inanda area. Upon receiving this information , members of Marshall Security Special Operations Team, Cartrack and Kwamashu SAPS Trio quickly sprang into action, responding to the location in question to investigate the situation.
Upon arriving at the scene, the members discovered that the vehicle had been severely stripped, with its parts and pieces scattered around the vehicle. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to locate any suspects in connection with the crime.
As a result, the Kwamashu SAPS Trio crimes unit took over the scene. The severally stripped vehicle was transported to the Kwamashu Station for further analysis and investigation. It was established that the vehicle was hijacked by 3 x African male in the Quarry Heights area.
