At approximately 02H07 this morning, the Marshall Security Emergency Dispatch Centre received reports of a trespassing incident on Malone Road in the Westmead area.
GWA Tactical Officers and Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to the location to assist.
Upon arrival, the suspect was swiftly apprehended. The individual had reportedly entered the property from the rear of the property. Fortunately, no damages were reported, and nothing was taken from the property.
After establishing the contact details of the business premises the owner decided to press charges against the suspect and Pinetown SAPS was contacted to arrive on scene.
The suspect was then subsequently taken into custody by Pinetown SAPS and will face appropriate charges.
