Marshall Security’s Armed Response Officers demonstrated their determination in the pursuit of justice as they swiftly apprehended a suspect involved in an attempted break-in in the Umhlanga area.
At approximately 09h35 we received reports via a WhatsApp Crime Alert group about an attempted break-in that took place on Ridge Road where the suspect had fled the property. Our team members were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes. Armed with a description of the suspect, our officers remained vigilant and conducted an extensive search. Their relentless efforts paid off when they spotted and successfully apprehended the suspect on Ridge Road.
The homeowner positively identified the suspect, expressing their intent to press charges. The Durban North SAPS was contacted, and promptly arrived on scene and transported the suspect to the Durban North SAPS station. Charges of malicious damage to property and trespassing will be investigated by the SAPS.
